Kigezi Community School

As of June 2024, 298 children (154 girls, 144 boys) are being taught at the school. 154 of these are boarders, i.e. children who stay at the school for the entire school period and are looked after by the guardians there. The teaching and care staff currently consists of 15 teachers, 9 guardians and 3 kitchen staff.

In addition to the far-reaching medium and long-term development goals, the school is currently primarily concerned with raising short-term funds for the food of children and staff and for paying the salaries of all employees.

With our donations, we would like to make a valuable contribution to securing livelihoods for the time being. Then, hopefully, we can devote ourselves to further, sustainable development goals one day.
